Our desire for our Shawnee Church of the Nazarene Youth Ministry is to grow together through the transformational love of Jesus Christ as seen in Ephesians 4:15-16 NLT: "Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love."

We rejoice in the continuing work of Christ in our lives that allows us to grow in him every day! As Christ invites us to be in relationship with him, he also gives us the gift of walking with one another in the journey of becoming a disciple of Christ. To walk together in Christ, teens 7th-12th grade and adult leaders gather throughout the week and you're invited!

Sunday School
Immediately Following Worship

Our teens 7-12th grade gather together after worship for Sunday School. In Sunday School, our desire is to dive deeper: in God’s word, in relationship with Christ, in our friendships with one another.

Youth Group

On Wednesday evenings we gather together in the middle of the week for a time of fellowship, fun, and formation. We are committed to providing a space that facilitates spiritual growth, rest, and deepening relationships. Our desire for these times is to grow as disciples alongside one another.

Small Groups

Small groups were created to continue fostering deeper relationship with God and each other. In these we hold one another accountable to growing in Christ and lift one another up. Guys and ladies meet at differing times/locations throughout the week.

Other Times We Gather

We also love to have fun and get away together multiple times throughout the year. In these moments we catch a breath, worship, serve, and simply be with one another. These include: Back to School Retreat, Camp, Mission Trip, Service Projects, etc
