Compassionate Ministries

Be compassionate, just as your Father in heaven is compassionate. -Jesus

At Shawnee Church we work together to fulfill these words of Jesus from Luke 6:36. We choose to live out the mission of our church, caring for the bodies of our neighbors while guiding them to the truth that they can be forgiven, healed, and made new. Our compassion becomes like that of Christ when we forgive others and reach out to meet not only spiritual needs, but to seek solutions to temporal and physical needs as well.

Love Fund

Donations are accepted any time, as we do our part to meet the needs of our neighbors. Supporting compassionate ministries financially is a vital part of our mission to reach out to our community.  We are able to minister to people not just physically, but spiritually.

Health Ministries

Through our health ministries, we remind people of the importance of caring for their physical bodies. We offer blood pressure checks at our church office on a monthly basis, we sponsor blood drives and flu shot programs annually, and we have nurses accessible to answer health questions.
