Children
Children are an important part of Shawnee Church of the Nazarene that's why we provide a wide range of spiritual growth activities, learning opportunities and friendship-building events. Below is an overview of a few of the regularly scheduled activities.
Every Wednesday evening this summer (June-August) children will rotate in age-level groups through "The Power of Prayer," "Power Projects," "Action Games" and "B.I.B.L.E." to learn how:
- Heroes Do The Unexpected!
- Heroes Stand For Truth!
- Heroes Step Out In Faith!
- Heroes Take Action!
- Heroes Save The Day!
Invite your friends for the fun activities and the chance to hear God's Word! All family members are invited for free snokones to wrap up the evening at 8pm!

We believe that when children have opportunities to lead us in worship that these are great shaping opportunities for kids and families.
All children kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to participate in yearly children’s musicals. The theme and time frame vary from year to year, however the experience and fun remain steady.
Are you considering Christian baptism or do you find yourself with questions? Several times a year we celebrate the sacrament of Christian Baptism during a Sunday Morning gathering. We believe that baptism is a mean of God’s Grace in our lives!
Classes are most often during the Sunday School hour however, we are glad to coordinate with your schedule.
Age level classes are offered for all children birth to 6th grade. Each class is guided by a classroom teaching team following a scripturally based curriculum. Our hope is to help children develop a biblical worldview, as well as applying Jesus's teachings in our daily life.
