Bold Vision Bold Faith
To our brothers and sisters in Christ,
In our Congregational Conversation at both services on Sunday, January 19, we advised you that we would communicate further regarding our Bold Vision/Bold Faith journey. Since the internet has become such an important communication tool, we have chosen to use this method as one way to communicate with you regarding our journey. We are hopeful this will help explain how we got to where we are, however, we also realize that this type communication has its limits. As such, we encourage further interaction via this vehicle, as well as any other approach that you are comfortable with. Your responsibility is to ask; our responsibility is to answer; our joint responsibility is to communicate with each other towards understanding God’s plan for us all.
Seven questions were submitted in writing to us. You will find response below to these questions. We would humbly request that you read our replies in the context of the January 19, 2008 Congregational Conversation. Much background and historical information was provided that cannot be included in our answers. We are answering with the assumption that our readers were in attendance at one of the services. If not, or if it would be helpful to you, copies of the conversation are available in CD format from the church office. Please consult this information and use it to provide balance and context to our replies.
We remain willing to visit with you in any form that fits you: individually (in your home, a restaurant or at church), in group i.e., as a Sunday School class…it is clearly your choice. Your comfort level is our comfort level.
We pray that you understand it is our intent to stand before our Lord and you in testimony to the truth as we know it. Please let us know how we can help.
In the peace and the love of our Father,
