DONUT DAY

Sunday, May 19th

This Sunday we will have a very special morning called Donut Days! Several of our ATPS families will join us as we celebrate with their preschool graduates. Following the 10am service we will have a time of fellowship, donuts of course, and a carnival-type atmosphere of fun and games in place of the Sunday School hour. Invite your friends!

Shnazzy T-shirts

The church shirts we sold last year are available again! As you participate in service over the next year – whether a Second Saturday Serve, Love In Deed or Old Shawnee Days – wear your Shnazzy shirt to represent the church as you serve in the name of Jesus Christ! Shirts are $10 each, and available in every size (including youth). Orders & payment are due by Monday! Sign up at the Welcome Center on Sunday, or e-mail office@shawneenaz.org

Later this month our culture celebrates Memorial Day; here in the church we recognize All Saints Day, a day when we remember those who have gone before us.

Please read through the attached list and remember to keep these family members and friends in your prayers as they continue to mourn the loss of their loved ones. If you notice someone is missing from our records, please contact the church office!

Cork Farewell Reception

Sunday, June 2; 11:15 - 12:30

We hope you’ll stop by to personally thank Mark & Jacque for their 3 years of ministry at Shawnee!

This Sunday, 5/19 will be Pastor Mark’s last Sunday leading our worship time. After Mark’s employer Premier merged with Nazarene Publishing House in December, his work load compounded; he finds himself traveling more, unable to give his full attention to pastoring and leading worship.

Old Shawnee Days

June 8 - 9

Old Shawnee Days is a huge carnival weekend put on by the city of Shawnee. SCN is in charge of the free games this year. Volunteers will be needed on Saturday and Sunday to run games (which are provided).

More details & sign ups can be found at the board at church.

Love In Deed

The purpose of Love In Deed is to get the Church outside of our church building and serve the community! This summer we will be offering an off-campus VBS at Cottonwood Apartments and work projects at local elementary schools.

Plan to attend our Love In Deed Kick Off meeting on Wednesday, May 29th to learn more and to sign up.
